Abseil for AnglicareSA

On 10 April 2015, Commissioner of Police Gary Burns and CFK Committee Member Marty Burke will take a giant leap and abseil down the side of the Westpac Building – all 34 floors or 132m!

All funds raised from the event will go towards AnglicareSA’s Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre – a much needed resource for families with a child on the Autism Spectrum.

Due to the nature of this donation, participants and in keeping with the CFK Committee’s philosophy, the $1400 donation for this event was made from the CFK Administration fund and not the Member’s Donation Account. The Commissioner of Police was invited to participate in this event due to his high community profile which will promote both the event and CFK.

Further donations can be made to support TeamCopsforKids here: https://abseilforanglicaresa.everydayhero.com/au/team-cops-for-kids

If you want to get involved you can head to Telstra Plaza at Adelaide Oval between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Monday 6 April 2015, for free family fun and entertainment or visit the website to make a donation or bid in their online auction.
